I’ve tested it on Macs, iOS, 64-bit Ubuntu, 64-bit GNOMEBuntu, and it works well across platforms. This is definitely a big advantage over Workflowy.
MAC OUTLINER APP OFFLINE
Unlike webapps, which are not available offline, Dynalist apps are available offline and stored locally. Native apps, but the default skeleton looks like a web app.
MAC OUTLINER APP ANDROID
It seems that almost all of the apps on major platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux (32, 64), iOS and Android are supported by the current support. Dynalist provides native apps for all major platforms. The Dynalist surely scratched the obvious part of Workflowy. The mobile app was also essentially a hybrid app. Unfortunately, Workflowy only offered web apps. Search features can be searched on the page or on all pages, so you can quickly find what you’re looking for. It does not get harder to find by managing multiple pages. I managed to divide and manage the list, so I felt it was easy to find and manage the list. Personally, it was the most pleasant function. Therefore, a list that does not overlap each other can be managed as a separate page (file). It was the most unfamiliar part I used in Workflowy.ĭynalist is using the page management function. Especially when you use the list for a long time, it becomes more difficult to search. This way of using all the lists at a glance makes it easy to see your ideas at a glance, but it becomes difficult to manage. The list I use in my company and the abstract notes I use for posting do not overlap each other, but I have to use them together in Workflowy. Workflowy is basically a structure where you have to write several items together in one list.
MAC OUTLINER APP MANUAL
Dropbox backups are backed up periodically with TXT or OPML files, but manual backup is also supported in the free version. I have not used Dynalist yet to manage tasks, but if I use it for task management, it seems that Google Calendar interworking function will be quite useful. If you enter a date in an item such as the Google Calendar function, it will automatically add the item to the calendar on that date.

Instead of an unlimited number of items, Dynalist has an add-on that allows you to backup your backups regularly in the drop-box, upload files (1 gigabyte) with Google Calendar in the paid version. It’s definitely different from Workflowy, where you can not create items because you feel pressure to limit items. The obvious advantage of Dynalist is that you can create items in the free version as well. However, Dynalist does not limit the number of items from the free version! I was feeling pressure on this part when I was using Workflowy, but it felt like the breath was darting. Workflowy uses the paid version, and the limit on the number of items disappears. If I limit the number of items in Outliner app, I feel that it would not be even if I want to have only items.

The first thing that was shocking when I first wrote Workflowy was the free policy. Many features are hidden by shortcuts and syntax, so you should look at the shortcuts and syntax. The Dynalist actually boasts a fairly simple UI.
MAC OUTLINER APP MAC
It seems to be a good match for the Mac OS, so it’s a good idea to outline or organize your ideas on the iMac’s large screen.īut in fact there is a UI that looks like a program that inherits the philosophy of Workflowy. Workflowy is simple, so I thought I was notepad, but Dynalist is more beautiful. It also supports the ability to migrate from Workflowy, so you might want to try it once.īy default, Dynalist’s interface is much better than Workflowy. If you see several Workflowy related articles, if Workflowy does not work, you are recommended to use Dynalist. I do not know if this is an app that developers have written using Workflowy. Workflowy seemed to have improved things that were missing one by one. Dynalist is quite similar to Workflowy than any other outliner, but it is an upgraded version. After the posting, many of you are using the same kind of outliners you recommended a lot, I would like to introduce you to the best Dynalist.įrom the bottom line, I switched from Workflowy to Dynalist. In my previous article, I introduced Workflowy, an outliner app.
